What if I have pre existing conditions?
Do you have Asthma, Emphysema, C.O.P.D, Diabetes? Have you had a Heart attack, stroke, cancer or other health concerns? We can still help! You may still qualify for coverage that starts right away, without any sort of waiting period! Being open with your agent is the best way to ensure you are able to get the most amount of coverage for the least amount possible. Also, there are NO MEDICAL EXAMS. What is the application process like?

Who gets the money when I die?
You pick. The technical term is beneficiary. Typically, whoever is going to be talking to the funeral director, and making all of the funeral/cremation arrangements, is the person who would be your beneficiary. You can leave it to a single person, split it up between multiple people, assign a funeral home, your estate or leave it to a church or charity. Talk with your agent if you need help or are unsure.
Can I cancel my policy at any time?
Yes, each state has a “free look”. This is a period of time where you can cancel the policy and get a refund of your premium. The minimum is 30 days but your states Free Look Period may be longer.
What if I want to make a change to my policy?
No problem, we can help you with that. From administrative changes such as: beneficiary changes, address, phone number etc. To face value changes or the amount of money your beneficiary receives when you pass. Just give us a call and we can help you.
How does my beneficiary make a claim?
The claim will need to be initiated with the life insurance company. Your beneficiary can call their agent, the insurance company or our main office.
Can my beneficiary be a funeral home?
Yes, there are a multiple options when it comes to beneficiaries. You can have multiple people or places, or you can leave it to your estate. It’s best to chat with an agent if you are unsure.
I have been turned down before, can I still get coverage?
Yes, we help you get approved even if you have been turned down before. You may even qualify for coverage that starts right away, no two year waiting period. It is best to talk with an agent to discuss your options.
Can I have more than one policy?
Yes.
Can I Replace My Current Policy?
Yes you can. If you are considering a replacement make sure it is in your best interest.
Does the price increase?
Final expense whole life policies stay the same. The price never goes up.
A term life policy may increase in rates during your policy lifetime. It’s important you understand how your policy works and if the rates will still be affordable. Contact your agent or contact us if you need help understanding how your policy works.
Will my policy expire?
With final expense whole life insurance the policy never expires. It will be there as long as you maintain your regular premium payments. Typically these payments are monthly, but you can also pay quarterly, annually, or semi-annually (every 6 months).
With term life insurance the policy will expire after your term is up.
Does my beneficiary have to pay taxes on the death benefit?
No, life insurance is tax free.
Is there cash that I can borrow in my policy?
Final Expense whole life insurance policies build cash value. It is best to speak with an agent if you are considering borrowing money, replacing or surrendering a policy for the cash value.
Term life insurance policies, typically, do not have this feature. There may be an option to receive your premiums back at the end of your term. This depends on your policy.
Do I have to give blood?
No, there are no Medicle exams. You can get approved and have the policy sent out to you all over the phone.
Is there a waiting period for the death benefit to pay out?
Every policy is different. Some policies have the full death benefit available right away, some have a percentage of the death benefit available right away and some policies return the premiums paid in plus a small percentage during the first few years. It is best to talk with an agent to see if you qualify for coverage that starts right away.
How do I qualify?
It’s simple. Either call in, request a quote or contact us via the contact page. Once you are connected with an agent they will be able to show you where you qualify. It only takes a few minutes. Your agent will ask you a few simple health questions and then they can show you what your coverage options would be. You can then ask to apply for the policy that you find makes the most sense. We have the ability to give you an instant decision and let you know if you are approved or not by the end of the call.
Can I pay for someone else’s policy?
Yes, just make sure you and the applicant are available to talk with an agent. Your agent will be able to do a 3 way call if need be.
Can you help me with an existing policy if I don’t have an agent?
Yes, we can help you with any of your existing policy needs.
I lost my policy, can I get another one?
Yes. Reach out to your agent.
Do my beneficiaries need my policy to make a claim?
If they don’t have it they can still make a claim. Make sure they know you have coverage, the name of the company your coverage is with and your agents phone number. Your agent can help your beneficiary. If you don’t have any of these handy give us a call and we can help. Even if you acquired your policy through another brokerage, we can still help.
